Blake Smeltz
Born and raised in Evington, Va, Blake Smeltz is no stranger to the connection of nature. Self-taught and with his emotions on his sleeves, Blake incorporates his sharp songwriting and engulfing storytelling abilities into his musical career. With the rawness of his raspy voice and his soft-spoken heart, Blake can create a meaningful connection with the listener, while keeping them engaged. With Inspirations from Luke Combs, Zach Bryan, and Jason Aldean, He is able to dive anywhere, from the genre of country-rock to singer-songwriter, and everything in between. Blake first released Demos From the 434 in 2023, which sparked a new flame inside his heart to pursue a musical career, no matter what it takes. In 2024, Blake released "You Ain't Whiskey," which sparked national interest, landing on Taste of Country's Top Music Video of the Week. With the release of his first studio album, "Heartbreak Highway," Blake hits the country music scene full steam ahead. With Lead singles like "Nicotine Daydream" and "Good Faith," Blake Proves he is as genuine and versatile as they come. Now with eyes looking ahead, his future looks promising and bright as he enters the new frontier of Country Music, with promises to make his mark on the Genre. Blake was inspired to pursue music when he came across Zach Bryan’s hit song, “Heading South” in 2019. Zach’s ability to draw the listener in with meaningful lyrics that not only tell a story but creates a relationship between the listener and the song, is what inspires Blake to recreate the same feeling with others. He combines the deep lyrics of Zach Bryan with the musical style of Luke Combs, a powerful voice and meaningful songwriter, to create something different. From an early age, Blake always had a passion for writing music. As a way to put his feelings into words he could not say, it offers not only an escape for himself, but also for the listeners. Though he comes from humble beginnings, Blake is putting the meaning in every word he sings.
